All the animals on the farm gathered after Mr.Jones fell asleep, to hear Major speak. The thing that was significant is that they were all interested into what he had to say. They all had a respect for him and kind of looked up to him. Even though he was a pig. Major explained how Man was the source of all there problems and without them, they would live happy, free lives. He told them "Only get rid of Man and the produce of our labour would be our own. Almost overnight we would become rich and free." He also gave them commandments. HE said no animal must never live in a house, sleep in a bed, wear clothes, drink alcohol, smoke tobacco, touch money, or even engage in trade because he said this was the actions of a man, not an animal. So he showed them a song called "Beasts of England," most of the animals in the barn started to go along with it and they memorizeit quick. This song was big because it changed how the animals look at life and it showed them a different path too. This song helped them unite and become one.
